It was made even more pleasant by receiving an unexpected upgrade to which we were very grateful and appreciated. We would have no hesitation in staying here again and would fully recommend to anyone staying in Geelong.”

“Clean room, the bathroom has a broken soap dish, no complimentary water and bedroom slippers. I liked that have free wifi and tv in the room.”

“The Novotel is very well situated. For a fairly new hotel I did find the room looked abit tired and the bathroom was not very clean, with hairs and grime. There was also building maintenance outside our room as they are expanding the hotel. Definitely not great if you are planning a sleep in or want to go out on your balcony as you have a bunch of Trades all staring at you. This would have been good to know at the time of booking. For the price and experience I would not stay here again.”

“We stayed in a pet-friendly cabin. I don’t think the heater was working properly - we had it at the highest temperature but it did little to warm the small room, even after being on for hours, and we were very cold. The TV wasn’t watchable as the image was constantly flickering. Seemed an issue with the screen rather than reception - it was still the same problem when we mirrored off our own device. Decent enough place to stay with the dog for one night but bring your own viewing device and...

“Great location”

“The bathroom door did not close, the electric blanket was burnt out at the switch, the heating on 30 only took the chill off the room. The freezer completely frozen. One light in the bathroom was not working and the other making a shorting out sound. When I went to talk about this the office was closed at 10.00am on a Monday. Very disappointed. We have stayed here before and it was fantastic. Obviously new owners.”
